Your genre savvy is showing. Yeah we know that on a meta level we basically have plot armor +5, but if you look at the spear of light and what it does in Thordan EX (it inflicts an infirmity debuff that makes you literally unable to heal whoever is hit with it until it wears off) it's actually pretty plausible that Zephirin could have killed the WoL with that attack had Haurchefant not intervened.

I know he didn't have too, but he did anyway. Though I needed to go save the world anyhow so I'm sure there would be a work around at some point. He's still cool, I'm just saying things were never against our odds in those times not even if he refused.

Genre savvy? I don't take particular interest in genres to understand them to a T but thanks for the "compliment"? Maybe cheezy horror films but that's different. Anyways I wasn't talking about plot armor but the over abundance of things that should've killed us doesn't. If your mentioning Thordan EX I suppose it'd be fair to refer to T9 which we took a MegaFlare pointblank and survived it. The thing that began the new era when we got teleported back in time or whatever. I think thats more threatning imo honestly but it's hard to determine what will or not be considered a threat to the WoL. At this point, we've taken on just about anything alone or with someone. Estinien who had the shield thing when we were fighting Nidhogg, he kinda saved us since If I got hit with Nidhogs blast or w/e I would faint, and warp back to my particular spot. Its just hard to tell when we need saving. If I was going to be injured for a few seconds because of the light arrow, ehhh It still feels like he wasted his life taking an arrow for me. Plot armor +5 or not, WoL is pretty broken.
