    Haurchefant died after the light spear penetrated his sheild. Through the front, not the back. And no Aymeric isn't Haurchefant.

    Plus just having a character come in to replace another one to a tee would be boring.

    My theory for why the light pierced the shield is because..... It was bloody ilvl 1! The shield that they give you in the MST is ilvl 1! No wonder he died D:

    Yeah, no. Go do Thordan Ex, you get hit by the same attack, abd if you don't properly mitigate it (have a TANK take the first hit) people die.

    So, yeah. Strong attack that can kill us vs npc.
