Lancer, pugilist and marauder.

what would you do first and what would you do last?

I hear Lancer is meant to be fun, especially as it can become a Dragoon. Why not do that one next?

Maybe make it a melee sandwich, with the pugilist in the middle.

Personally, I'm aiming for a summoner, so thaumaturge is next on my list.

Me? It'd definitely be marauder 1st. Nice to have some suvivability, as well as decent damage. It kinda kills the leveling process when I have to constantly eat/drink/regen health like I'm always having to do on my monk, which I'd level last (I think I had an easier time on my THM than on my MNK :\ ).

Another vote for lancer! Personally working on black mage, monk and white mage. Hope you have fun levelling whatever you decide. ������

Well this response is a day overdue, but choose which ever class you are most comfortable with and work from there. On the other hand my personal pick would be lancer then marauder since level 30 lancer and 15 marauder get dragoon, but like i said its all personal preference.

And by lancer I mean LNC. I have no MRD.

Personally those are my least fav jobs out of anything. I would go with Lancer I guess, if you're asking for some random opinion. A better opinion is "whichever you hate the least".

Tbh I would say Lancer if only for the fact it has some really useful cross class skills for other dps jobs that can cross class with it

Well i only have Warrior left out of the ones you mention, so i guess Maurader last, but only because up until now i have not found it to be very fun.
Lancer/dragoon is very fun
