Old Idea resurfaced: Player inspired minions?

Based on an Idea I had months ago, we purchase these minions in the moogle store that are chibi versions of themselves with current appearance!! Give it a separate tab and allow people to buy 5x unique minions to pass to their friends!

This would cost way too many resources to implement and each minion would need to be tailored to look like a exact wind-up version of the player. Dev's would need to pretty much design each player minion from ground up and quite frankly their time is better spent on more requried and asked for things. Given that there are over 2,000 players per server this would eat up a crapola ton of resources and time they could spend on other things.

It's a thoughtful idea and definitly brings out the collector in me, but it falls under the same general "no" as when someone suggested ingame player tribute statue furnishings for fellow players who have passed on.

There are plenty of ways to counter with race, and edits. Perhaps just the players image but limited items. It's just a fun suggestion honestly.

+1 to what Grimmel said, but we could possibly have race minions. Tiny versions of the defaults in character creation. A wind-up Roe sounds pretty cool.
