Conversion of 1H primal to 2H via Mor Dhona, but crafted remains so? Please help, SE

The conversion was announced some time back and I realised that players just have to head to Mor Dhona and convert it at one of the NPCs, Auriana or something.

However, I realised that this conversion only works for drops, ie, item drops from within those primal instances.

What about craftable ones, shouldn't they be made into 2-handed equivalents as well?

SE, I hope you can implement this as well, first for homogeneity cause I'm very certain that a lot of players would love to use the crafted weapons for glamor. (Moogle CNJ weapon is soooo pretty!)

The problem is probably spirit bond. When you trade an item with an NPC (like at Calamity Salvager) the item you get back always has 0% spiritbond. This doesn't matter so much for untradeable items, but crafted items could then be used as glamours, swapped, swapped again and resold (and you know people would abuse it, because there's always people that do!)

Sure SE could change it so the swapping NPC also added the spirit bond or so that the item you got back was untradeable, but as we've seen they like putting things into existing systems (and I can't say I blame them there, it is easier!) so if they are going to do this, they'd have to change some things which is probably why they haven't allowed it right now.

If they gave it a new name and ID like the existing "Replica" items then they could add whatever restrictions they like. Original crafted weapons could stay as they are but NPC items could be untradable.

In the unique case of the Allagan BLM weapon, I believe there already is a replica for the 2H version. You can't exchange one for the other, but you can make the crafted one as either 2H or 1H. Probably the other weapons will follow that pattern

Maybe as a recipe, where you need the crafted 1-hand version as a mat to craft the 2-hand version (that can get the same ilevel as the 1-hand version or even ilevel 220 if it is a lv60 recipe)

Thank you Jeykama for that link.

To an earlier poster who mentioned spiritbinding, I suggest that they change it straight in the crafting log. So the final PRODUCT is a 2handed weapon vs a 1handed that we trade in, because I can see what you mean about the abuse factor.
