♥ Baby, tell me, what's your motive? ♥
My group was just starting to get close to clearing A6S after doing it for a couple of weeks and this is a major slap in the face... The nerf wasn't needed and it's too soon. ; ;
It seems people fail to see the big picture there. The dev team has plans for when people clear raid encounters and how many people clear it.
they design the raids and expect the top tier raiders to finish it in a certain time with a particular ilvl. And they do the same for midcore raiders. They now what ilvl most raiders are now and they said themselves that the damage going on was higher than expected.
If you cleared it before the nerfs or were close to clear it, congratulations, you are a top tier raider or at least in the above average of midcore raiders. The dev team just ended saying that you are above the average that they were expecting.
My static team was progressing in A6S and we can see the progress we make every time we raid. for us, these nerfs just mean we will move on to A7S sooner than what we anticipated, no big deal.
Why would the "elites" have reason to cry over this? They already have the content on farm regardless.
If you legitimately feel these emotions because of a video game, you need to take a step back and stop taking video games so seriously. Cause you know... video game. It's not a thing that you should base your self worth over. That's not directed specifically at you either.
Who said anything about basing myself on a video game? Do you ever get emotional in movies, or while reading a good story or such, playing sports? This is no different. I'm just pissed off because a goal I was about to reach was taken away from me. I think it's totally fine to feel emotional about things that you find fun/important for you. What is wrong with taking things seriously? That's like, your opinion man.If you legitimately feel these emotions because of a video game, you need to take a step back and stop taking video games so seriously. Cause you know... video game. Ugh so much stuff for PvP...do not want lol
and this game really needs to start making more then 4 bosses and calling it raids :/ zzz
[2.0] The orchestrion roll materials obtained from the following raid dungeons will now always appear in the treasure chest that appears after the boss:
The Labyrinth of the Ancients / Syrcus Tower / The World of Darkness
YAAAAASSSSSS!!
At the end of the day what is or isn't "Too Hard" is subjective, it is an opinion. The only opinion that counts on the issue is SE's who are likely making the decision based on metrics. They want a certain % of groups that attempt the content to pass it, and they want the groups that pass it to pass it in a certain amount of time. If they're nerfing something now it's either because fewer people are passing it and are passing it more slowly than they want or the nerf was always scheduled as a planned part of the content's lifecycle. I'd personally suspect the former more than the latter, but only they know for sure.
At any rate they certainly didn't do it satisfy whatever your particular agenda is, or run afoul of whatever your personal hangups are. They're looking to make sure the content they produced is performing in the capacity they wanted no more no less. "Git Gud", "Tears of Raiders", what? That's just so much digging for a negative narrative that really isn't there.
