Stat boosts with titles?

I feel in a party of 8 people, where most people level alts, the likely hood that you can choose your stat bonus is higher than in situations otherwise. i.e. What if you have a NIN BRD SMN BLM - then no STR bonus for your tanks, but 2x DEX? It would be great for 1 of those guys to adjust their bonus. This would allow for more compositions to exist if anything.

In terms of the elitism comment, my issue is that everyone is so fearful of elitism that they come out in hordes against anything that may add some flavour to the game. The people suck in both situations, but at least the elitists are playing a fun game.

I can see where you are coming from but titles should remain just for vanity purpose and nothing more. If titles are made like how most f2p games function, where some titles are sold in events or in the cash shop it'll create alot of problems, I'm paying for subs because SE is one of the few mmo who isn't going down the same road as like every other korean MMO now, where korean developers implement things whether unethical or not, just to make huge profits out of something, RNG cash shop items, extremely buggy patches, 0 interaction between developers & players and when they deem that a game is dead they milk the living hell out of it and use a huge some of the revenue into developing new games. While FF14 has its own issue I'm glad at least there are live letters, and that our pleas are heard, changes made are constructive.

Like i've mentioned titles have to be add huge benefits else it would be pointless to include this system, and if it provides benefits this is what you'll see , "LF Tank with at least Vit + 4% title", or "S>runs for vit +30 title",etc. Title hunt is something done for fun, I enjoy hunting for titles too, but in the event that it is compulsory to go through certain length to get certain titles just to stay relevant stat wise, i'd pass.
