    Controller not responding

Ever since I started playing FFXIV, I have used a PS3 controller with the DS3 tool to emulate an xbox 360 controller. However, since today my controller seems to have stopped responding to FFXIV, no inputs will go through, and doing the controller recalibration does nothing. Any idea what's going on?

And I should mention, the controller still works perfectly fine with other games (ex. Dark Souls 3), and my computer still recognizes it as a perfectly fine xbox 360 controller.

This maybe a really stupid question but ... why are you using an emulator to emulate a controller other than the PS3 when you can use the PS3 or PS4 controller via PC in this game? O.o

Well I had tried using the ps3 controller directly, but it never worked. I only got it to work with the DS3 tool.

You need DS3 tool to get the controller to work on a PC. as far as I know there were no pc drivers for the controller, at least when I was looking it up and using it. however, I now use a PS4 controller.

Anyway, I had the issue of random disconnects with it. I would have to restart the ds3 tools, and then restart ffxiv to get it to work again. since I switched to ps4 controller I used http://ds4windows.com/ and so far it has been flawless. just plug it in and go everytime.
