Need help transferring from trial version to full on PS4

Hello all,

As post title suggests, I picked up the full version of the game today after the 2 week trial expired, and I'm kind of lost as to how to get it running, using my character created in the trial.

Original download of the trial was on PS4
Purchased digital copy of ARR and HS on Amazon
Transferred downloads to PS4

When I try to log in normally, as per http://support.na.square-enix.com/fa...la=1&kid=70905

However, it gives me the screen where login failed / trial expiration / no valid account, etc.

It says to update on MogStation, but that seems no longer to be the correct order of operations via http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...6ba0d8cbc16378.

It could be due to the fact that my SE account I made for FFXI isn't linked to PSN correctly, but I think that was done successfully when I began the trial. Could someone give me a clearly defined, up to date list of how I navigate this issue?

You still use Mog Station. It sounds like the issue you're referencing was just with purchasing the upgrade there, which you've already handled elsewhere. Just give Mog Station the key. =)

You'll need to go to the PSN site, specifically the page of FFXIV on psn, there should be an option to allow you to register the code you got for it and it'll link it to your account on psn. at least that's what I remember.

PC copies are registered on the Mog Station. Console copies are registered on PSN. Go into the PS store on your PS4 and look for the item about adding purchase codes (near the bottom of that list on the left-hand side IIRC). Or you can probably do it through the PSN website as well.

To ensure it gets linked correctly with your trial account so you can use your existing character(s), I think that works the same way as linking it with beta accounts did back when I started. If so, the next time you start the game after adding your purchase key to PSN, the game will ask you whether you want to create a new account or use an existing one. Select that you want to use an existing one, provide your usual login credentials, and it will link the purchase to the account with your trial characters (and link your PSN account to that SE account).
