Good point, OP. We should really be open to criticism and keep level heads. That's what veterans do.

I think they need to add some kind of rewards for clearing Stone sky sea.
It really does serve as an eye opener if your rotation and gear are seriously bad. However a casual player has no incentive to participate in this content and the potential exists for them to continue playing oblivious to the fact of just how bad they are.
If casual had a reason (like glamours) to take on stone sky sea challenges then you might have more people realizing how bad they are and least be aware of the fact that they need to improve and hopefully choose to act on it.
Well I'm sorry but I don't see the need to get really good when I have no intention in challenging Alex savage or Extreme Mode Primals (when they are relevant).
This does not mean I'm playing purposely bad I'm just not going to invest hours to learn and memorize a perfect rotation for my class.
You are missing the context as most who think the "please be decent at the game" statement actually means "omg you suck kill yourself". What these threads are saying is in the case of monk hey maintaining greased lightning helps, as you kinda should know by say level 50. Perfect is far from what is being asked. The presentation of the helpfulness could use some work in some cases but then again so could the responses in others, as can be seen from the examples pulled from past experience.Well I'm sorry but I don't see the need to get really good when I have no intention in challenging Alex savage or Extreme Mode Primals (when they are relevant).

Hours? If it takes someone hours to memorize...rotation..what? You are supposed to know your own abilities and job and it comes naturally for your rotation >.>; I don't look up guides for my jobs and never had one complaint from my raid team.
LOL Nothing in this game takes hours to learn. It took me a whole...5 minutes tops to figure out SMN and BLM at 60. What are you doing that requires that much time invested? Not even the fights in this game take that much time to learn. No one is saying be perfect, but at least know the basic rotation of ones job basically and make an effort to understand basic mechanics.
Anyway, to OP, I blame the devs and the players for coming across "the bads". The devs keep nerfing things instead of forcing people to adjust themselves, therefore...they get the logic of why try when it will just be nerfed to the ground? And then it is the players as well because they put in little to no effort. Then you have people who just naturally are not that great at games. I try to teach and help..but sometimes its a lost cause. After 15 minutes of wiping that is when I politely excuse myself and leave. What more can one do...
Also the way these fights are designed can be pretty bad imho. Nothing is recoverable when its relevant.
wat r u elitist dood?
wats rong with makeing things acessible after their not currant anymoer?
/sarcasm
All people ever do on PF is unsync on old content these days. One of the things that irks me is unsynced pony farms that insist on a full party. What exactly is the benefit of wasting time waiting for the party to fill up and having more people to roll against?
