The TT card for Xande confirms that his original body was exhumed and enlarged by Amon in his efforts to resurrect him, which kinda messes with the timetable if the Triad were supposedly captured during the invasion of Meracydia in Xande's second reign.
That is why I think that the allag empire already were conquering foreing countries and not just on the second time of Xande.

I would also agree that gigas would have being an allaga experimentation, used probably for slaves. But not that they are allagan descedants.
