    Also be mindful of when you use Attunement, that classes which have access to Hawk's Eyes like BRD and MCH will hit you if they use it. Although damage is greatly reduced, I've KOed many of heals that use Attunement at the brink of death.

    ...I cackle to myself everytime. Lol

    Hey there.

    Let me just say. I play AST so my fundamentals comes from playing that job class.

    WHM is like the mastery class of all the heals. In a sense that it can do everything the other heals can do, but in its own way. Also the only one that can sleep a target.

    My advice to you is once you get used to the healing side of PVP. Get familiar with the fighting back or defending yourself side of healing. This is what makes the difference between a good healer and an amazing healer.

    If you have not already. You're going to want to equip at the very least "Blizzard II" and "Surecast" into your arsenal.

    When you fight you are fighting not to kill (obviously). But to shake off the enemy that is trying to ruin your day.

    Sorry if I get any of these wrong... Here is your arsenal.

    Repose = Sleep
    Fluid Aura = Push back & Bind (single target)
    Stone = Heavy
    Holy = Stun
    Blizzard II = AoE Bind
    Aero = instant cast dot. (Use this now and then to back up your other enfeebles as a kind of potential soak for esuna type of cures.)

    Unless your team has amazing awareness, you won't be getting any help when 3 people have set their hearts on killing you.

    Play around with defending yourself in 8v8 if you need a small idea of how you can implement these into your game.
