PS4 and the use of Wireless Keyboards and the issue I'm having with it

I've played the game for over 2 years, used a quaint simple wireless keyboard to chat while playing my copy on PS4. Tonight I must of hit something or a combination of "somethings." I can't find any instructions anywhere, though they're probably buried deep or I don't understand what I'm looking at, on how to fix my issue. My issue is that whenever I press a letter button in attempt to type in the chat box which always instantly posts whatever letter I was pressing, it now opens a sub-menu, or with the "A,W,S,D" buttons, moves my character. Spacebar makes me jump.

You get where I'm going with this now I hope. My keyboard is now functioning as if I'm using it as a controller that one would use when playing the PC version of the game. How do I resolve this so I can just go back to using it just for typing? Help me.

Go to the Main Menu > Character Settings > Control Settings > General tab (the first page that comes up)

Under Chat Mode Settings make sure Enable direct chat is highlighted.

Did as you recommended, but it still did not fix the issue. The keyboard still wants to act like a controller one would use on the PC version of the game. Sorry

I figured it out, my "CONTROL" button on the Bottom Left of my wireless Keyboard was Stuck. If anyone has this problem in the future where you were typing one minute and then the next your keyboard is opening all different types of Menus and making your character move with "A, S, D, and W," check all your Control (Ctrl) Buttons to see if any of them are stuck.
