Does any get punished abusing the kick in Novice network?

I'm pretty sure there are no guidelines for kicking in the Novice Network right now. I mean, I haven't personally gotten to 1000 duties yet, so I don't even know the current situation. Even if they did have a penalty for it, it would be something minor since it's really not something they monitor that heavily.

Which I brought up and sent links as proof. Doesn't matter to that person. Its like they try to make the NN as their personal tumblr and what they say goes.

Speaking as one of the Mentors from the Balmung Novice Network, this individual took everything quite out of context.

The (numerous) times they have been kicked were due to the following;

1) Erotic or Suggestive 'Mistells', with the excuse of 'lol oops' each time.

2) Being asked to cease 'licking' people in 'emotes' in the Novice Network, by no less than 4 Sprouts and 6 Mentors. In being asked, told people 'Blacklist me or deal with it ;D'.

3) Speaking of off-topic nonsense when Sprouts or Mentors are having legitimate conversations, being asked to cease spamming, and then insisting on continuing.

I simply wished to shed a bit of light on this, and not have an individual whom has been in the wrong, attempt to play themselves off as a victim of 'Kick Abuse'. They've been known for spamming and continue to do so under a thin guise of 'I will report you to the GMs'.

There's as much proof of what this person said being the "truth" as there is of the OP's side of the story being true. Don't jump to conclusions. Kick abuse can and does happen.

Forgive me, but if this person was kicked by the same person I think they were, then this person has been unjustly kicked a number of times, too.

We have some people in the NN that are quick to kick if there is any disagreements or debates. Matter of fact, there is someone on our server who would kick someone for "Using the word meme."

So, before you jump to demonize someone on the words of - two people? - I wouldn't assume they are all bad. Though I do think this person likely needs to work on themselves to not get kicked as much (Really, if people tell you they're not comfortable being licked, be respectful about it.)

I've been ganged up on and kicked out of an LS before for simply talking about insects. There are some....strange people on Balmung, to use polite words.

Enough to occasionally outnumber reasonable people. And a couple of people saying the OP really was being problematic isn't a lot to go on honestly.

Unfortunately, I can confirm that this is entirely accurate. Multiple people have asked that the behaviour ceases because it's inappropriate and--most importantly--has made novices uncomfortable.

The Network on Balmung is silly. It's full of memes and general joking around to create a friendly and welcoming atmosphere, but when questions are asked or people are requested to stop, it stops.
Unfortunately not everybody stops sometimes, and not everybody has appropriate things to say. 'Licking' people has made people uncomfortable and that's why this person gets asked to stop. The mentors don't dislike them personally, we dislike how they act.

As someone from Balmung in the NN as well, this is entirely true and not even accounting for the time they were kicked for spamming the chat with jokes about pedobear chasing them out of nowhere. But yeah, talk about those unfair bans.
