    I leveled most my craft jobs before 1.19. Not only it support my battle jobs, it also give me crazy amount of physical exp make me stronger than other players in the beginning of the game.
    Later in the game, I found myself craft because retainer is full with mats. It's pretty enjoyable to make them into stuffs.
    Come to think about it, I don't craft because I want to rank up it.

    the only thing that can be done about the grind is to give more exp pre synth but that would just make the game easier. Even if they made the mini-game more engaging you would need to do it like 9000 times and just about anything get boring at that point.

    It would not "make the game easier," it would just take less time. Wasting time =/= difficulty.

    what i meant by easier was there are some where carfting is not a "waste of time" and they should be the ones who have max level carfts. If you think it is a waste of time you can just not do it, that your choice but you need to understand that because you made that choice somethings may need a little more work from you. If don't like that or think it's not fair then either level a craft or find ways to make more money. It really is just that easy.

    Crafting is amazing in this game I love sitting there and pressing a button for years instead of going and collecting some logs for an hour or two and making 600k.

    Do you also like how you're forced to make a million items to level up which you have to sell to the vendor at a loss because even if you could sell them on the market you wouldn't be able to sell them fast enough as you only have 20 bazaar slots between 2 retainers!

    Let's hear it for forcing crafters to vendor 90% of the stuff that isn't materials!

    I think the problem here is that majority of people want crafting to be:
    1: Gather ingredients
    2: Select a recipe
    3: Get finished product

    And Gathering to be:
    1: Click gathering spot
    2: Get resource

    I can understand the purpose of the minigame, but it's just too tedious, and I think it's not the EXP rates or the lack of crafting leves on different levels that make the crafting such a grind, but rather the fact that for every item, ones that give 20exp and the ones that give 500 exp alike, require a near five minute minigame to create.

    Wouldn't it be better to integrate the 'rapid synth' into 'standard synth', get rid of that 'rapid' option and make it appear more and more often instead in form of a default boost inside the 'standard synth' when crafting things below your own level? So it in a way will simulate what happens when you fight mobs; you kill them faster and faster as you level away from their level. A 10 level object down from yours in crafting might be mostly "rapid" standard synths automatically etc. And it must be there without the risk of failure from that rapid boost.

    And they could also add a part or a miniature of the object your crafting in the animation, to make it a bit more fun visually. But they definitely must change the whole animation even more somehow, to make it less boring to watch..
