I have yet to see a single response from the development team about this. Right now I'm in the middle of a mega crafting session, cleaning up some raw materials that have been accumulating for wvr, lth, gs. Over 3 hours now, new moon, and not a single +1. This even for cotton yarn and cloth ><
Futhermore, the more I craft under existing code, the angrier I become. There is so much RNG in the coding, and now, since the patch, in correlation with this a dramatic - and I mean dramatic increase in first attempt fails. Don't even think about Careful synthesis, because fail rates are huge, even for recipes substantially below my level, and more often than not it's going, first, unstable, and then, even if you wait to white and Standard, highly likely chaotic. In other words, the deck is totally stacked against us. This is just plain wrong.
I didn't begin playing this game with any intention of crafting. Unfortunately, crafting plays a very important part in this game, and you either go with the flow, or rely on others for your various crafting needs. Therefore, since crafting is such a huge part of this game - like it or not - the least you can do is clean up this coding. I'm of the silly belief that if I spend tons of time and effort to become competent in a particular craft, I should be rewarded, and by that I mean recipes should become easier, the higher level I get, and HQ'd should also become more likely.
I don't even like where I think the develpment team is headed with HQ's. I.E. - we're guaranteed a HQ synth with all HQ materials. What that means is, once again, no reward for crafting competency (read that level/gear/abilities) vs. the recipe level. Essentially what that does is allow level 30 players, for example, the same HQ odds as a level 50, and that's just plain wrong too.
I've posted, I don't even remember how many posts now about this, and I'm not alone, and yet I haven't seen a single response from the development team, acknowledging this problem, and any attempt, whatsoever, addressing how they plan to fix this crap coding. I've spent way more time than I care to admit leveling my crafting classes, crp, lth, wvr, gs, alc, all level 50, and I've endured this RNG bullsh*t for over a year now, and I think we all deserve an answer on this. So how about it development team?
