New static (2 healers) lf members!

Hey, I’m Kira from Continuum FC (Ctm) on Phoenix server. I’m 31 and I work as a developer for smaller company in Czech Republic. I used to raid with „Peace“ (now Continuum) in a semi-HC group (2nd server T9 back then iirc) before I took a break from the game for 1 year for various reasons. I’m back in the game now and I’ll be trying to form a new static group of friendly and like-minded people to enjoy raiding the end-game content with.

STATUS:
Currently have WAR, PLD as tanks and then MCH/BRD, NIN, BLM interested and pending (+SCH and WHM set), so ideally we are looking for melee dds - preferably DRG I guess, but it's not a strict requirement.

Important note:
I won’t be able to raid myself cca before May 15, due to my flat being under reconstruction. I’m putting this here like month ahead so that I have some leeway to find people. Since I’m somewhat able to play from the place I‘m current staying at, we can meet in game, chat a bit or do something to test the waters. I’m online mostly in the evenings and my character name is Kira Iris.

General info:
My plan is (to have fun, basically) to clear the current savage content (up to A8S) without any stress before the next content patch happens (it’s no race at this point) while working on a functional group for the next set of savage content or whatever it is. The idea is to have a semi-HC approach with „life > game“ mindset as I understand that people have their work, kids, hobbies and other commitments (afterall, I’m not among the youngest, too - I'm playing on drums in a rock band for example). I’m well aware that the progression needs to be there to keep the excitement flowing and I know there are times when people need to be pushed a bit to perform, but certainly not at all cost. I’m strongly against any kind of drama. I will make sure that no yelling happens and I won’t be tolerating any kind of aggresive behaviour. I won’t be spending my free time (and others free time) dealing with immature people and assholes, period. If you know you can’t handle hours of wiping peacefully and tend to get frustrated rather quickly, this is not a place for you. I know that you can only be as good as the whole group is, so I’ll try to make sure that everyone is on the same page skill-wise. If a problem arises, we’ll talk about it and try to solve it as a group, giving advices, hints and such. Nobody is flaweless and I’ll be replacing people only after some effort is put into fixing their issues or if some violation of the friendly and peaceful atmosphere happens. I’m not in a rush to find people. I have the „quality > quantity“ mindset here.

The group is currently just me, as Sch and my friend Lombardia, as Whm. We are looking for 2 tanks and 4 damage dealers. I’m not requiring you to have anything cleared so far as I haven‘t been in current savage content yet, due to inability to raid (the reconstruction + the break from the game). However, I do require you to have some experience raiding and working in a team. I’m myself a quick learner, so it won’t be a problem for me to catch up. As I said, I’m not in a rush, I’d much rather gather like-minded people slowly and work our way up then rush for the content with all sorts of inconveniences, eventually disbanding due to some inevitable drama.

What I expect:
- 18+, TS and fluent English (sorry, I have to make sure we understand each other)
- matured and friendly approach
- knowing your job inside and out
- availability to raid at least 2-3 times a week, starting around 6-7 PM GMT (for at least 3-4 hours), this one is tricky, it really depends on further agreement, we can do more, we can do less - I can myself go pretty HC, but we need to find a tempo that suits everyone in the group
- ability to take constructive criticism and having sense of humor

What I can offer:
- friendly and peaceful atmosphere
- end-game progression (it will happen, sooner or later)
- dedicated approach from my side (theorycrafting, organization, solving issues, etc…)
- communication outside of the game (line, whatsapp, whatever it is)
- TS server or something else, doesn’t matter – what suits best

I know my expectations are a bit high, but I have had my fair share of dramas/disbanding and I pretty much know what I want from the game at this point and I think I know what it takes to get there. I decided to make my own static rather then jump in a working one for the same reason. I want to have at least some control over what's going on, even if it is way more challenging to make this happen. In return, I can promise I’ll manage everything the group needs and I’ll do my best to offer comfortable gaming environment for everyone.

Hi, I am fairly new to this game. I started like 2 - 3 months ago, but I've progressed quite fast. The latest and toughest content I've cleared was the first two stages of Gordias, Ravanna Extreme and Bismarck Extreme. The only reason why I've not progressed further in Gordias is due to grinding foranima weapons and leveling an AST. I have a PLD lvl 60 and a Warrior level 60. The Warrior has an ilvl of 209, although I have the means to buy similar ilvl gear for the PLD, I've decided to invest all resources in materials for Warrior's Anima weapon.
I game on a ps4 and a monitor. I have a computer next to it, so I can search for information very fast. It's just that my computer's screen is not working at the moment. It's possible for me to use TS via my Android cellphone in the meantime. I am also aware that gaming on a keyboard and a mouse has certain benefits over a ps4, but I still believe clearing end game content is doable. I just need to chance to prove that.

I have experience for 2yrs+ in coil & savage before which mostly with Japanese ppl in JP server. My current main now is SMN and got A6S up to 3rd boss Swindler. Before that my main job for raid are WHM, then PLD, then DRK, then DRG ; which i can use them back again equipped with decent gears. I also have high consciousness of raid being taking a lot of attention, time, & gil (for draco pot, raid food & gil to purchase decent gear & overmeld). I never use TS since but i pay attention a lot of any mechanic on this game, but if you insist i think i can get it.

I am interested with your team and can adapt in any time & duration. I am far from being rage, insulting or shouting ppl since I consider those such a shame. I can handle many wipes for the sake of understanding and executing mechanic in perfect timing. But I hope there will be no late person during the days which can turn me into frustration.

Tjitske, feel free to poke me whenever in game, I'll have few additional questions. Are you aware that it might take some time to form the group and catch up other groups that are already progressing on A7S and A8S?

The reason I insist on people having and speaking on TS is that as I said I believe the you can be only as good as the group is. It takes just 1 player to misunderstand something for the whole group to wipe over and over again and if it happens that this is the player without TS, it gets pretty complicated sometimes. This is not to disregard people with speaking disorders or speaking different languages and such.

Hi Kira, I am fully aware of the situation that there are so many gates in current 3.2 patch that halted players progress in midas savage starting from near to zero-tolerance Seph EX, slow DPS on hummelfaust, rare offhealer want to do gorilla and also high stress RNG on A6S 1st Boss.

I am hoping that we can learn together and keep trying rather than just farming certain easy floor but then give up on those harder floors. I already observed a trend that ppl is burnt out or surrender on A6S (just like what happened on A3S) since they think it could be as easy as A5S for weekly farm. It's so unfortunate.

I don't mind to play with a static starting to learn from A5S as if a new team in raid as long as the entire member have dedication & consistency to play and know the risk of having stress on later floors up to A8S. In fact, experienced players put me into alert more as most of them tend to be cocky.

Ok, Tjitske, that sounds good to me. I'm not used to give up when things get complicated, quite the opposite, actually. I myself really enjoy the challenge. If we make this happen, you won't see me disbanding the static due to weeks of wiping on a difficult content. There is always something that can be done to improve. As I said, my goal is to clear whole savage content (up to A8S) and pick up decent, matured, dedicated, friendly and skilled people along the way. Whether it is possible or not is yet to be figured out.

Additionally, for the TS, I'm not expecting everyone to speak all the time. It's just something we can rely on if things goes wrong and we have to address or fix some issues.

TS is not a matter to me, I have TS3 but I do not expect to hear horrible crowd or screaming voice during fight because the game SFX itself is very important for me as mechanic signals. Whereas I found some players shut the entire in-game sound and replacing it with TS is actually making themselves so vulnerable into failing mechanics. For discussion TS should be ok.
Also I do not expect to play with friends. Friend is friend, raider is raider. When I play together with friends I play with mood. When I am playing alongside of raiders I play with dedication.

Well, from your last post it seems like you are pretty serious about this. I think our view on what we expect from this static might vary a bit here and I'm happy you brought this up now. I really don't want this to feel like a 2nd job and be THAT serious about it. I want to progress in savage content, yes, but I also want to have fun raiding (and I know this is possible). It's more important for me to have a good time (hopefully with friends), talk about stuff, laugh and enjoy both the accomplishments and the failures.

So, I'll have to ask you to rethink your interest here. Don't get me wrong, I really do appreciate what you could bring to the table, but for me it's absolutely crucial that all people are on the same page regarding general approach to raiding. I honestly think that a more serious, HC-like static would fit you better.

I would be interested in this as I am currently looking for a group for Savage progression. I play BRD/MCH.

I'm 30, from the UK. Have TS etc, would also like to raid 3 times a week although I'd rather start more towards 7pm ST (Work, driving back, dinner etc) and then do 2 full lockouts although if it looks a kill is happening I'll carry on later.

I won't be able to get online until Monday 18th April when my internet gets turned back on due to a house move if you wanted a chat in game at some point.

I'm pretty sure I can meet all your requirements.... plus the added bonus of me being a crafter as well
