Thread: Never thought id miss "him" but.. any chance for Carbuncle in XIV?

Our very 1st summon and well most of us summoners grew close to Carbuncle.
Any chance we can see him in Eorzea? It would be cool.

He's the only example we've given of something they're thinking a summoner might be able to summon. That doesn't necessarily mean we will get to, just that it's the only former summon they've even mentioned in regard to the summoner job.

hmmm not sure, i know that usually Ifrit and Shiva are either the first summon. :P

Ifrit and Shiva are primals. Summon primals is like Free Company content and not for Summoner only. To summon primals you need an item which you get with some luck after you killed a primal. This item you can use only once then you need to kill the primal again.

sorry, i meant pass FF games they are usually the first type to be available to summon xD

As someone already said, Carbuncle is probably already being created as a summon for the summoner job.

Hmm make him a primal, I wana beat him til hes dead.
