    Reset Quests on Class Change

I would first like to start off by saying that I am relatively new to FFXIV, 277 hours played on steam. However, one of the things I have noticed is that its really difficult to level new classes if you have already done the world quests when you have leveled 1-3 classes to a certain point, which basically covers each starting zone's quests. I want to suggest that each class that you level will be able to do the same world quests over again if they have yet to be completed with that specific class. This will make it much easier for new players to enjoy leveling new classes without having to spam levequests and/or hunting logs in order to catch up to the zone that you haven't completed world quests in. As, I said I am new to the game, so its quite possible that I am missing some important information that is making my job harder for myself. Thank you for taking the time to read this post.

Have you tried doing FATEs and/or Dungeons? That's how I leveled all my alts.

I've never had that issue, working on my 9th level 60. If the going is slow do FATES, they'll be quicker than most quests.

At this point, it's best to do dungeons when you're unable to get into fate groups, as well as making sure you do your daily roulettes. I've gotten all my combat classes to 60, and most of them were at 60 before they increased the EXP you get from the newer dungeons (Resting EXP/Food/FC buffs help out a lot as well)

yea, you are for sure missing some stuff. theres a lot of ways to level up "fast" and quest is for sure not one of them. quest is for you to unlock content. for dps, is best to hit 15, que up for a dungeon, and while in que, do some fates. They are worth a lot more. beside, if quest reset, you can get some rare rewards a 2nd to 10th time.

When you get right down to it, quests give a terrible amount of exp for the time they take compared to other activities. They probably barely grant more exp than grinding mobs, and likely come out ahead largely because half the quests ask you to do just that.

At level 1 until 5 or so just killing random stuff outside of town is enough, then you can start focusing on your hunting log. While people here have talked about FATEs, it can sometimes be hard if too few people are around, so you have to pick FATEs that are multiple smaller mobs rather than 1 large boss mob. Once you get the 15 you can dungeon grind. It takes time sure, but it helps you learn your job better.
