Lancer's 2nd highest stat....piety?

I noticed when i was leveling my lancer that for some reason the second highest stat (not counting gear) was piety. I was kind of confused as to why it was. My friend and I talked about it and he suggested that PIE might just have other things to it that have to do with LNC, though we both kept thinking "isnt PIE magic acc.?"

Then i saw Bayohne's post with what the stats mean and here is the results of PIE: Magic Evasion/Enfeebling Magic/Max MP.

so where we meant to be good with enfeebs? Was this a strange mistake? Or are LNC just super awesome magic evaders

anyone else notice a stat on their class that seemed out of place to be so high?

speed surge is Enfeebling, so no

As above said I imagine PIE has a big effect on the amount of HP you can drain per hit.
