[Request] Can we please have decent looking horses?

So...we have a poor Sleipnir with stubby legs (really, how does he even run?) and feathery hair. We also have ponies that were tortured with superglue in their manes and who's muscles must REALLY hurt when they run.

The new bird mounts look way more pleasant in terms of animal torture.... and the Griffin is nothing short of AMAZING. Isn't it time to give us good looking horses? Every time I summon my Nightmare, I am sad to realize again that we have no pretty horses in game (Pegasus included, just a pony with wobbly wings).

I wouldn't say the horses are horrible , but they could do with some tweaks.

Redo the the tails..they truly look like are readying to take a dump in the next 3 seconds....its awful to look at.....and makes them look quite silly.

But that's the only thing that I find really badly designed about them. The stiffness of the manes and run animation is somewhat standard in here, our own hairstyles are stiff and gear is unrealistically stiff so I doubt that would improve.

I do find though ffxiv has done excellent with some of the other mounts..its just a matter of personal taste and standards I guess.

Wow was the same, they made gorgeous and smooth running cat mounts but when it came to wolves...omg they ran with an extremely poor animation, they looked horrid. I wont get into the lolyak run.....

Tera and Rift do an excellent job with all mounts, both in appearance and realistic run animations etc.

Yeah i wouldnt mind a horse that actually look like a horse.

The in game horses are fine. Be happy you have such things in the first place, as traditionally horses don't exist in any FF world, only chocobos.

They don't have the pigeons either iirc so seeing that they are pretty loose on that....I don't think having a good looking horse is too much to ask for

FF games have Pigeons... FF6 had avery famous scene with carrier pidgeons.

I don't like this kind of attitude, why should we be thankful that a game implemented something in attempt to keep people running old content? Of course the mounts are nice, but just because horses don't exist in the FF world doesn't mean we have to think they're perfectly designed and never complain about them. If we don't like something in game, we're allowed to express that, no matter what kind of content it is. Not to mention Sleipnir is a paid mount.

You can get warhorses from frontlines. Those are traditional looking horses :P
