How many only main one job?

The only reason I ask, is because I'm having a really hard time picking a main class... and because of it I'm spreading out my lore and midas gear between 3 classes and it's messing up my progression.

The big reason I can't choose is because my FC doesn't have a need for any certain class, so I mainly run DF and PF for most of my progression.

I know it's really subjective for how I play and what I like, but any help is appreciated.

As far as Savage raid viability is concerned, I've only got Monk.
Outside of Savage content, I do play MCH and PLD pretty often atm though. (MCH is under Savage accuracy, PLD is horribly unoptimized with almost 900 accuracy.)

Honestly, as long as you're able to play each job you play decently, it doesn't matter (unless you're raiding and need to get one job geared up ASAP).

Otherwise, being very experienced with numerous jobs can only be a beneficial thing for you.

I swap between smn/sch as needed. Usually I role sch unless one of my linkshells needs a dps or if I know the queue is shorter for dps. I keep a stack of keeper's hymn in my inventory.

Pretty much this. Unless you're doing savage raiding you don't really need to worry about gearing up one class over all the rest and can afford to kind of just randomly gear up in whatever order you'd like. Me personally, I main PLD but I also play SCH, MNK, and WAR quite a bit. My Midas drops are going toward my other classes by now (only needed a few for PLD), and I'm almost ready to start using Lore to gear them at this point. I can't even decide what to do with the tokens for my Lore weapon since I already have 3 i210's and one i200 completed and the i210-i230 upgrade is such a joke.

I don't have a main job because I just play whatever one I feel like at the moment. The struggle though comes when deciding what 1-2 jobs out of all the Lv.60 ones I have that I want to focus on gearing up with the limited resources you're given each week.

I main as WHM as I feel as if I got the situation more under control. I'm so used to it that when I go on my 60 MNK that I am a bit nervous about the other healer(s). I guess it's a trust thing.

So yeah, I'm pretty much gonna stick to that forever probably.

Like with most things, if you're in a dedicated static and doing progression, you should focus on one, if you're not doing progression, it doesn't matter at all.

I main a drk unless duty finder requests a dps or healing in need than i switch to ast and blm

I switch a lot too with DRG being like my main class (Lore gear) for raids besides that I play SMN, BLM, NIN, BRD, all three healers and DRK lol but I make sure I have 1 healer, 1 Tank and 1 dps geared up incase I need to feel In where any of my groups need it...in high level content
