How the heck do you use this? I keep using it and even if the choco ahead of me does something, I get nothing.

Nevermind. I got it to fire on accident. The choco in front of me used sprint shoes shortly after I used mimic. I sprinted too. Dumb ability. Can't wait to breed this one.

The only 2 abilities i like are Choco Dash 3 and Increase Stamina 3 i dont use any other ability

ChocoDash scales very poorly

I use Speedy Recovery III and Cure III, with speed, stamina and cunning maxed, and I think acc about 300 and endurance 450.
Cure III nets you back so much stamina there's not much you can't recover from.

It used to be that the only way to learn max rank skills was to keep forcing your chocobo to unlearn its current skill and hope RNG favoured you when they ranked up next. The recent changes allow you to unlock to option to purchase max rank skill books from the vendor by completing the challenge races though.

Maybe it was just me misreading something, but I missed out on this fact for some time before I realised - past level 10, if you learn an ability you don't want, just lethe water it, and next time you level up you learn a new one (which again can be removed if you want). For some time I thought the ability you got at lv10 you were stuck with.

And yes that is how I got my grade 3 abilities

Hmm. RNGesus must hate me. I can only seem to get level 1 abilities from the rank up learning. The only way I have gotten anything above level II is when I use a covering voucher. I am currently trying to get my Ped9 choco. The way I have it now RNGesus will need to help me to get at max a 19 star choco. I have a 25% chance to get max speed, 75% acc, 100% end, 50% 3 star stamina, and 50% chance at cunning. I might have to start over. Depends on what I get on these chocos. I waited too late to start interbreeding.
