Why are ranged using LB so much now?

A lot of time melee wait too much before doing LB. LB is not a final blown, if not needed from strat is best to use ASAP LB3 is up, because then it start to charge again. I've seen a lot of ranged doing LB 'cause of lazy melees.

honestly i dont see what the problem is... if ranged wanna Lb let them.. if tanks wanna lb let them.. it saves what 2 mins in a fight?? so doesnt really matter who pops it ._. i use it cause like the animation that and the fact so glad we dont have the stupid heal lb anymores on bard :P

I just instantly used L3 today as bard in The World of Darkness, i've never used it before, it was pretty but i won't use it again on a single boss unless the melee are slacking, no reason too (unless i forget how pretty it is xD)

@Spawnie : DD LB saves more 10s from ranged LB than 2 min in a fight
@RocheKat : You could also ask yourself why DD use LB when there are more than one mob/boss

LB is not such a great deal, noone really cares so let's just play and see nice animations
And I also hate when I'm healing and DPS keep LB for the last 1 or 2%... come on guys it's not a finish blow, and it can even fill LB1 if you do it once available.

Although I hate that whenever I start a caster LB3 it can get interrupted by a DD using LB3 after me because he heard the loud crack...

Super excited about the fast WoD queue's, pretty much guarantees that I get to use Angel Feathers once a week. LB does high damage, but 90% of the time it's not going to make a difference.

I will recklessly pop tank/healer LB all the time. Hell, I've done it between pulls before, it's really not that big of a deal.

Until you need it and wipe.

Outside of Raiding or Hardcore content it really shouldn't matter who pops it. Unless it is part of a calculated strategy or fail safe it really isn't going to make a huge difference either way.

Well everyone's playing for his / her reasons, some like the "pretty flashy lights" and play for the show or might be in the mood for a show sometimes, others want it done the fastest possible.
But I feel the issue of people playing their class very very badly is of more importance for that matter than some people doing an AoE LB instead of just a bit more powerful single-target one.

If you don't like it you still have the option to go on missions with a full team of people you know who play for efficiency and won't waste a few thousands of damage for something they like.

Yeah man, that 5 seconds it saves in a 24 man is insane. Couldn't bear to be stuck in Void Ark for that much longer.
