Why are ranged using LB so much now?

the only time im able to use LB3 is when we are wiping and LB3 is charged..... so cool , *feel like Aioros* :3 ,other than that IS NEVER .....is sad that there are tons of LB and u only see 3.....99% of the time

Always use my lb3 in content where it doesn't matter regardless of what job i am.

3 times yesterday my DF group wiped on A8 because our party had low dps and the ranged kept using LB3 in the final stage so we couldn't clear before the auto kill.

To be honest, if your group had such low dps that you reach enrage in A8, unless the boss had a sliver of hp left I doubt the melee using the LB instead would have prevented a wipe

I'd rather ranged use LB on single target then it go unused like 90% of the time. Really though, I don't understand why we don't use more AoE LB on trash packs - it's so much better than using single on the boss.

I find it weird the reason number one on why people use their LB is because "it's pretty", and not because your DPS job can get the best damage /effect out of it depending on the situation.

Single target, melee LB.
Multi targets, Caster or Ranged depending on how the mobs are placed.

If you DPS complain you never get to use your LB, think about healers and Tanks. Since the launch of the game, ive probably used my healer LB ( 1, 2 and 3 ) like 15-20 times top and probably not even 10 times on my Tanks.

I've also LB'd as SCH just to see it.
Seriously it doesn't matter who uses it in most content.

That's the number one reason because it isn't necessary to win with most DF content.
You can do it without the LB. I will, in fact, also use the LB on tank or healer if we somehow go the WHOLE DUNGEON without using it, and that happens more often than I think people like to admit.

Melee DPS have exactly 5 seconds once that LB bar hits 3 to use their LB.

Well you must be doing something wrong because there aren't always melee in my parties and I use mine whenever I have the opportunity. I use it when appropriate and I'll be the first to agree that it's annoying when a melee just sits on their LB and doesn't use it when I'm sitting back waiting on them. I often lament however just how weak our ranged limit break is especially against a boss.

Often times I'll want to get my DoT's up before LB'ing (just so I have some extra damage ticking), or likewise it's just not safe or intelligent to use the LB at that spot (as I'm expecting a telegraphed attack.)
