Monk dps in sephirot ex

I just made a fresh static and we are learning sephiroth ex, got to third phase in the first night. But in digress Im pushing 1200 to 1300 dps as a i116 monk. 210 weapon, is this good or should I be alot higer?

Ya thats def a good place to start. I dont think you should view it as bad in any way, the ad phase and mechanics make it tough to keep up dps.

Why start there? Sep is way outdated to be raid content. You just got 230 weps today.

It depends on what part you're measuring your DPS at. If it is just after adds phase you should be lying around 1500, but if it is at the beginning of 3rd phase those are reasonable numbers.

We are starting there because nit everyone is getting lore weapons. Plus it's a good way to see how well we work

Cause people might not have all their Midan gears? or not enough Lore?, Life happens, not everyone has the exact amount of stuff week to week 100% of the time >_>

Then they wouldn't be in a static.

A8/M4 takes all of 10 minutes Max. If people don't have time to run that ONCE a week, then they aren't the kind of people who could spend time in a static and make meaningful progress.

Same goes for Lore. One expert roulette a day for 6 days=capped. That's 3 hours a week of roulette. Again, if people didn't have time to cap, then they subsequently probably don't have time for a static either and so they're likely not raiders

If that's instance wide, yeah that's fine. Usually my monk can pull it back to around 1400 ish by the end of final phase, but the second phase has a load of down time so those numbers seem accurate.

Or perhaps some just have not tried Sephiroth yet? Not sure why you are giving OP such a hard time, lol
Myself i am a week behind on getting the lore weapon as i spent lore on a extra piece of gear and did not feel like running Midas one week :/
As far as your dps Op, seems good i would think. I do not Monk but play blm and Nin mostly so could not say for sure.
ThordanEX is also good to practice if you have not cleared it, even if it's "old" content
