Blitz

So, I'm sure this is asked a lot, but how many people would play blitzball if it were introduced into the gold saucer.

Everybody would do it for 2 weeks, figure out it's not how they wanted it implemented, and only 3 people would do it unless it got massive MGP payout buffs.

I was talking about this in another forum (trying to talk about it) I think it could be really big if done right such as... Set it up so people would pay in big (perhaps 10k MGP per person) as a group of however many people they allow... From there do it as a Tournament, that last a month maybe 2, were the groups have a specific time (perhaps once a week) to go against one another with the allotment of 1 or 2 substitutes depending on size of groups allowed... 1st gets a big pay, 2nd gets a decent pay out, 3rd breaks even and then down hill from there (to be split between the group)

Along with this allow regular casual play for people that dont have time for all that or even to practice with your group...

And if they allowed spectators to bet on teams and pay like 10MGP to watch matches the matches...

I personally would think it pretty awesome and fun if done right... if not done right itll just sit back in the corner like Verminion does

For the most part, everything that's been added to the Gold Saucer has been poorly implemented in one way or another. I wouldn't dream too hard about this being done the right way. I wish poor content was confined within the GS walls only, too.

Depends on how it is implemented. Blitzball on FFX was quite fun but also repetitive and boring after a while, if they implement it in here and allow your team composition to be of all human players, all npcs, or a mixture of both, with tournaments along the way, some nice rewards and maybe some ways for you to learn skills and improve your blitz game (like FFX had) it could be quite successful and played a lot.
Or not and it will sit in a corner like Verminion. I'd love if they try and implement it though, it's one of my favorite FF mini-games.

I would play it. They should have ffx Glamour's that you could win via blitzball (considering they didn't do a glamour event when remastered came out ;-; )
