    Moles and their digging move

I was solo grinding on some Drybone Shrew today, and I think I have figured out how to not get hit when they jump out of the ground. What I have noticed, if I move away from where I was standing when they dig under, then turn to face where I was standing, I never get hit. In fact, it seems they do not even use the ability on me. I took a video to demonstrate. Keep in mind I've only tried this on Drybone Shrew.

I didn't know this was a secret. I just always move out of the way and it pops up close to where it dug under (and where I was standing).

The annoying part of these is just that you lose the target.

Wish this worked on the Hedgemoles on Lv40 leves/in Darkhold that shoot AoE spines when they shoot up.

Throwing a ton of DoTs on moles seems pretty effective. They eat away at them even while they're underground.

Yeah, it's one of the many avoidable TP moves in the game. Many don't realize you can avoid quite a bit of moves in this game, but people didn't bother because they didn't think SE actually implemented positional mechanics.

Yup, however, avoiding moves seems to be one of the things where server lag really shows up. I notice a tad in regular combat, but not enough to make a fuss about it, however when trying to avoid moves like some of the TP abilities from the Zombie's you fight at the Hilati (might have spelled that wrong) camp.. It seems if you don't re-position immediately when they start their move, you'll still get hit. I seem to get about a 50% avoidance when I try to move. If they start their move while you have a weapon skill animation going off, don't even bother to move, they already got ya.

This. I gave up avoiding anything until SE fixes their servers. It's less frustrating that way than to see you getting hit despite you having "avoided" it.

This. And the same with gnats, though that's usually easier to avoid, since you can see the moves coming as soon as they start teleporting. It's a good way to see how bad the lag is though.

Such as Yarzon and their spit attack when they charge up just move behind them you don't get hit and you get a few free hits.
