Question: How am i supposed to do this quest after 1.19 since raven-black dyer's moss no longer drops (used to make raven-black velveteen dye), and no one has any to sell?
Still having story quests from npc that require materials that are no longer available in game seems like an undersight by the ffxiv team and should be fixed. Should have updated the recipe to just use the all purpose black dye. and just have it 1 bolt velveteen, 1 cotton cloth, 1 black dye + the untradable item the quest gives you.

you can still make the cloth if you have the mats, thats what I did, also you need mats for 10 synths since you are making 10 pairs of gloves

If it's any consolation, there's no point to finishing the quest anyway. If you need the guildmarks, think again, because crafting doesn't even require anything you can buy with guildmarks anyway. Especially from Weaver guild.
