Thread: Looking for full installer.

I'm on linux running the game through wine(I'm aware this is unsupported.). I'm was playing the game well via the free trial(which installed the game fine somehow) but ran into a snag when upgrading to the full version after buying ARR. It gets stuck currently at "Checking Version of FFXIV," after logging in at the launcher. I've tried everything I can think of but except trying to get a copy of windows in a vm and installing to get the files. I currerntly do not have them installed as the installer uninstalls via it's normal action or part of wines normal functioning. I've also tried reinstalling the trial version but it does the same thing now.

I was wondering if there was a full installer somewhere to make this easy(it would likely get past this issue.). I've looked but could not find anything official.

Sadly my free game time is running out atm. It seems to have gotten far enough to recognize my version of ARR I purchased and started the countdown.

Edit:And as it turns out VM is not an option either as service pack 3 for xp cannot be downloaded from microsoft. can someone at Square enix please make a full/offline installer available for this game for download or provide a link to where one can be obtained if it already is. Having it as an optin in our account stuff would be nice. Then atleast you know we bought the game first. If that is an issue.
