    4.0 needs cross class improvements

It feels 3.0 did nothing for cross-class skills, sure it built upon the job itself, but tacked on an extensions of abilities but it left the game in Flux because it was fixing 2.0s problems to job usefulness. I just hope 4.0 can be more inclusive to classes having better qualities to skills.

SE's m.o. is to ignore everything that is implemented poorly and move on to new stuff.

They had classes, but the new jobs didn't have them. They tried a double job class, but it didn't work like they wanted so they left it alone and didn't introduce more. They had cross class skills, but when rogue and ninja came they didn't introduce any new. HW didn't even bring new traits, I'm not surpried if we'll never see any new cross class skills again.

We don't need new cross skill, we already have enough key to smash,
I actually hope for 4.0 they rework useless skills, fuse some of them and basically clean our action bar like some other mmorpg like WoW did throughout expansions.
For instance, the combo system from most class could see a nice rehaul, because honestly, smashing 1.2.3.1.2.3.1.2.3.1.2.3 doesn't take more skill than smashin 1.1.1.1.1.1.1 but it takes 2 more spell slots that could be used for more interesting skills. (I have Paladin main tanking rotation in mind here). If they really wish to keep the combo system, I wish Yoshida would look at GuildWars 2 system where the spell actually change and evolve as you spam it. Basically every cast is different than the last one but at least, it doesn't take 3 keys.

SE improved jobs in general in HW by making them either more unique or going deeper in a said mechanic, BLM mana management is a unique and good mechanic but it was a bit too simple, enochian brings a good layer of complexity without being dull nor removing the mana management part(by switching between fire and ice). However, Since Fire4 and Blizzard4 can only be cast under enochian and the according stance, there is ZERO point if having two skills. One skill adapting to the stance you,re currently in would be enough. Same for Summoner and Scholar with Ether Flux

So I hope that for the next expansion, they improve the way skills are organise by removing / fusing /improving some of them. A fun rotation doesn't require 20 spells.
I also wish they rework a bit the mana PT system in the sens that mana OR PT are useless to every job but paladin (just because of flash and clemency) and Dark Knight. They could use the TP bar for the "job specific" ressource. Like WoW did for so many jobs. Ofc, we the buff system works perfectly fine, but let's face it,

etc etc are nice little touch.
I believe it would be nice to see your number Either Flux, Umbral Ice/Astral Fire duration (enochian too), stack of rage etc etc in that third ressource bar instead of something that is here but... you just don't care about.
    Same for astromancer cards.
