{DRG} quick help please

Everything i'm reading is so old. Does anybody have some links to updates on what secondary jobs i should level up that would most benefit me? In addition crafting to. I am very new to this game, and i hate not knowing anything. The only thing i do know is my rotation from hours of youtube videos. I'm not one of those people who go into a game blind. Every MMO i have played i like to play my character to the highest level. Thank you very much :-)

i don't know but when I DRG, I use old one (HT, CT combo, FT combo, + OGCD in between) and keep Blood of the Dragon up and only use Geirskogul when my timer is 16-20 secs above.

If you mean for cross skills, that would be marauder and pugilist. Personally, I use Internal Release and Second Wind from pugilist and Foresight, Bloodbath and Mercy Stroke from marauder.

That's a lot to cover in one post. Just stick around and peruse the forums everyday, talk to your fc and linkshells and you'll pick up on quite a bit over time. For drg specifically you'll want to level up pugilist/monk and Marauder/Warrior. These will unlock cross-class skills such as Internal Release, Bloodbath, Mercy Stroke, Second Wind, Featherfoot, etc. The only one you really really need as drg is Internal Release. Mercy stroke is pretty good too, the rest are more for utility/survival.

As for crafting, they are all useful more or less, but they are also as much of a grind as getting end game raid gear. If you want to make the best gear prepare to spend a good chunk of time and gil on leveling and gearing them out. But, if you want to the convenience of being able to repair your own gear, which is really useful, you only need to level them up to 50, and this can be done with 40-50 leves and a 3-4 hour crafting session for each. If you're more interested in leveling crafts to make money then goldsmith, culinarian, and alchemist are probably the best money makers. But I'm no authority on high-end crafting.

Have to unlock it by going to the Pugilist Guild in Ul'dah. Should be right across the giant aetheryte.

Once you get those Internal Release and Second Wind, your DRG should be almost complete xD just need foresight and Bloodbath from MRD to give u a few secs tanking buff when your tank died xD

I always been a long time dragoon. I use cross skills - Internal release, foresight, bloodbath, blood for blood, second wind (seriously sometimes a life saver).
Try adding life surge to your combo. It gives confirm critical hit. XD
