Actually, sprint doesn't build limit break, apparently. I'm almost certain it used to, though. Or we've all been delusional for years. /shrug

Thamaturge = Concussive Force. Pushes all monsters away from you and stuns them for 2 sec.
Arcanist = Corporeal Prison. AoE that prevents monsters from leaving the area within.
Conjuror = Vortex. Pulls all nearby monsters to the selected area and inflicts heavy.
It's what 1st comes to mind with all of them.
In XI and 1.0 mages got weaponskills that had various utilities, just damage ones, ones that decrease targets defense/m.defense/evasion, some that inflicted debuffs like blind, some that restored hp/mp. But this was a different system where weaponskills worked more like this games limit break, they took a long time to build especially as a mage. Here it would be kind of broken with the way tp works, you'd have a weaponskill that essentially gives you on demand debuffs or mp restore which would take away from other jobs like brd/mch.
Maybe one day they can introduce a mage that's kind of like a counterpart to DRK where it has a stance that slowly drains their tp in exchange for a buff that's the only thing I can think they could do with tp that wouldn't be broken or undermine other jobs.

The TP based caster would be Dancer. The existing casters in the game at the moment are all entirely magic based with no physical training. As such any of the existing casters using TP for anything besides sprinting makes zero sense as they do not train in any skills that use physical exertion or dexterity.
OP you have some arbitrary obsession with making every job use every resource in the game. They don't have to and they shouldn't because it doesn't make any sense. Some jobs use both resources, some don't. Hell SMN, SCH, WAR and MCH already have a second resource in the form of their job mechanics, they don't need another to worry about.
