Looking for FC for Autistic people on Eu-Lich

    Hi

I was wondering if there is any FC that has autistic people on EU-Lich as I am one as well, and sometimes have problems communicating with people overall. Just to make playing this game more enjoyable I was wondering if someone started an FC and who has autism too ?

    Please feel free to reply

(I'm not sure if there are conventions on this forum about reviving derelict threads.)

Is it alright to assume you are a newish player? I'm autistic too, and it's not a marginal case of Asperger's; a practitioner could diagnose me in a parking lot. My FC is actually primarily social, in addition to gameplay support, and it works great; they are very nice and people are online a lot of the time. But I'm under the impression that this is not exceptional. People likely to misinterpret or be overwrought are just not that common. I also believe the age and other demographics of the game also skew against teenage mean boys, to say nothing about how gaming disproportionately attracts nerdy people.

If you are still looking, I would advise you to look for an LGBT-friendly FC that has not blacked out most of the objective icons (if they keep most of the objective icons lit, they're probably just sort of omnibus) as they are probably by default more open-minded; and try to avoid ones with more than 20 active members. (Indeed, in mine, which describes itself as LGBT-friendly, there are at least two openly autistic people.)

It is very hard to tell how many players are active in an FC. Mine is 60-70 "members" but fewer than a dozen people are active throughout the week, and another dozen pop in infrequently. At that activity level, cliques are unlikely to form. I assume cliques are probably the bigger problem for autistic people, as we somehow always get left out of all of them, but as long as the social structure is flat you will likely be fine.
