What is the MP bar for on a Melee DPS

This doesn't even make sense for some jobs as their lore specifically centers on physical ability and not mental acuity. There are already a bunch of hybrid jobs that use both resource pools so if that's what you want then play them. The other jobs don't need to use MP with a token skill just to justify the resource bar...

I get what you mean, and I wouldn't just want 1 skill 2 could be nice, but I understand everybody thinking.

and the more I hear about 1.0 the more cool it sounds compared to 2.0 and on.

There really is no point to it, honestly, if you're not a PLD/WAR using flash, or a DoM class, MP has zero usage at all, it's just kinda there for uniformity, I guess

Besides, some people have fun on the side by not equipping their job stone; having access to some cross-class skills that require MP.
