Is there a possibility of updating some of the textures?

And as Yoshi is also a big fan of the older style FF games (he's on record as saying his favourites are FFIII and VII), I don't think you will see any major change in the graphic engine any time soon... if at all.

Major change in the graphics engine? How is updating the crappy floor textures a major change? Why do higher end machines need to suffer because of the lower end ones? Why can't I have the option to have higher, or lower textures? I'm not suggestinga forced change for everyone, I am suggesting options for people that can have high resolution textures. Why use the arguement of making the textures suffer for the sake of gameplay and "story"? Making the ground look a little better is not the biggest request that I have seen posted here.
