Tank accuracy in Midas Savage

Hello all,

Does the acc cap reported for tanks accounts for the 5% bonus acc we get from the def stance?

If not then shouldn't tanks aim for less acc than whats reported?

So if A8S cap is 723 then tanks should aim for 95% of that which is 687

Frontal accuracy cap for A8S is actually 705 out of tank stance. The 723 people are referring to was an initial estimate based on a Gordias to Midas projection. I would recommend aiming for the accuracy cap out of tank stance for both tanks since there are times when the offtank will need to hit from the front and there is no reason the main tank needs to stay in their tank stance for the entirety of the fight (especially the first phases).

I got spooked when my Acc took a hit when I went to Midian and Hellfire upgrades, but was satisfied when I got the +100 acc from Proto Midian legs. I don't do Savage for the lack of learning in PF, but being around iLv218 its not hard to get 749 acc. It's overkill for standard content but knowing whatever the savage caps are (705~723) is always a good threshold to aim for being able to gear for content as a whole..

Tanks by any rights should have no problem reaching the cap and beyond. You want to be safe? 730-740 accuracy. Potentially getting a little bit more secondary stats is way less important since the increment is almost negligible at best, if you are looking at 20-30 secondary stats gain. Tanks who know what they are doing, even with excess accuracy, can still do a lot of DPS in comparison to the other tanks.

TLDR: Skill > Gear. Don't sweat about reaching your current "BiS", with the most optimal secondary stats. DPS increment is way less than what you think it is. Really overrated to be very honest. Instead, always look to clear the whole raid and then you adjust.
