Honestly all we need is tell customization options like Receive tells from friends only or a list of specific names that can send you tells.

Funny that the 'other' filter works really well. :bTell filters don't work though - SE already tried that years ago with FFXI and... it worked for... a week. Then the RMT companies worked out how the filter functioned, and developed ways around it (such as substituting letters in the tell that the filter would block, such as replacing 'w' with "@' in web addresses and mentioning that fact in the tell so that prospective buyers would know where to go anyway.)
If it's a configurable one you could just change it, instead of filling up your blacklist.
They did already restrict the amount of friend requests to 5 per day. I didn't see any of those in a long while now, instead of getting about 10 or so per day.
Next step would be to have the option to receive tells from friends only.

I would like this.
They'd need to include the option to allow tells from novices in the novice network, imo. I'm a mentor and I enjoy helping sprouts.
Of course, someone invites the RMT in now and then...

/busy works for me ... not sure why people are still having issues with RMT spam. Use LS for private chats between close friends ... it's not hard. Unless you're a social butterfly, I really don't understand the amount of aggravation for a problem that's minutely irritating at best.
It's more of an irritation of having to cut off certain aspects or tools of the game simple because of it./busy works for me ... not sure why people are still having issues with RMT spam.
