The reason you died had nothing to do with the tank waiting or not though?

At the end of the day Titan just bopped you off the stage. Not the Tank's fault and you can always apply Protect during fight if you wanted to.
Plus it was Titan Normal. And there is no loot to cry over.

Pretty much... I'm scratching my head a bit at the whole stoneskin thing, it seemed completely unnecessary to me, but it's definitely a lot longer than 30 seconds to break titan's heart... Heck, dodging a landslide doesn't involve using any skill, just moving your character... I'm gonna assume maybe you were so upset at your friends not waiting 30 seconds that it threw you off for the rest of the fight?

I'm upset with him for being an inconsiderate rocket douche. Nothing more. Getting hit by landslide and falling is my fault, but added to my rage. I couldn't heal anyone so I rushed in hoping Eos could sustain them long enough until I could. During this time, my camera angle was in a less than ideal place and I didn't even see it coming as I was too focused trying to keep everyone alive.
One FC member did tell me that if I hadn't had done what I did, they would have wiped for sure and commended me stating that a lot of people don't make it that far their first go with Titan, especially a healer in the situation I was in.
I won, but I didn't beat him.

It isnt even a "you dont need stoneskin at that level" you dont need stoneskin period as SCH. It is a kind of wasted crossclass slot for the most part
Plus the added stress of panic-healing once the cooldown's over to keep people from dying. Moments like that (especially combined with irritation knowing that it shouldn't. have. happened.) tend to interfere with handling of mechanics.
For OP, I totally understand. (To be honest, in a situation like that -- fully pre-formed with people who were aware of my situation of needing to switch crossclass skills -- I'd quite possibly have neglected healing them even longer ^^; And then potentially pointed out that "next time, could you please wait until I can actually do something for the first thirty seconds of the fight?" I can be... petty at times ^^; ) And I completely agree with wanting to be alive at the end of a primal fight before I consider it "won".

Then talk to your supposed real life friend about it instead of badmouthing them to strangers on the internet. Your friend started a fight a few seconds sooner than you would have preferred because your skills/hotbar weren't prepared beforehand (you even said your tank pulled before you asked for everyone to wait for you), there was no wipe, and the only reason anyone died was because you didn't move out of the telegraphed attack. It seems like a complete non issue that you're making out to be a huge deal for little to no reason other than being upset that your group didn't realize their healer was waiting until after the instance already started to setup their crossclass skills.
If you insist on doing this every time you join a dungeon, then at least wait to cast Protect until AFTER you slot all of your skills so there's no more chance of misunderstanding. It's such a strange/unnecessary habit for someone to have, I don't blame them at all for not remembering. Especially if you're going to cast spells beforehand, giving the impression that you're all set when you're not.

Except the changing of crossclass skills was to remove Protect and add Stoneskin. So it wouldn't work to cast Protect after that ^^; And said friend was aware of it from before, OP stated, the comment in the instance was more to remind people of it, I'd wager.

Wow this was a flashback. I think my wife said the same thing to me after being dead at the end of her first Titan experience.
Do it again and get it out of your system until you feel like you won. There are a lot of fights that you may not be standing for when they are killed. Gotta find a way to make peace with that.
As for your friend not waiting after you asked to wait. That sucks but try to put it in its place; I've seen a lot of hurt feelings between people due to stuff like this (sad to say) just relax, I'm sure they weren't being malicious.
