Mainly I agree with you, but I'd like to point out that there's no requirement to be on a JP server to have access to this. You have to have a JP service account. I.e. you need to actually live in Japan (or close enough to be able to trick SE's localization, I suppose. And have a JP credit card). Have a friend on my server who lives in Japan (but plays on Phoenix for... reasons).

(She did comment, though, that the real winners are the ones working at 7/11 and playing this game, since the majority of customers go, "Pfft, I don't need any receipts, just throw it." And since the necessary codes are on your receipt, that's like, "Yay, free code for me!" And no, she doesn't work there, she just ran into a cashier who assumed she didn't want her receipt xD And apparently they made it about as easy to enter the codes as they've done with any other system in this game. Meaning not at all.)
