I'd rather see the rewards based on two systems: PVP rewards (wolf marks and pvp exp) rewarded on win/loss, and PVE rewards based on individual contribution. Things like damaging the other team (with a bonus if you dealt damage shortly before that person died), healing (But only if actual HP was restored, no points for overhealing!) and time spent with more medals than your starting amount all contributing towards an individual score. The score for full rewards should be low enough that you don't have to be a god of PVP to earn the full rewards, but high enough that you do need to show some competency to do so.

Basically, the idea is that if you want your tomestones, you have to actually play. And so long as you're doing that, you may as well play to win.
