Relative prices of Replica Allagan Gear.

Everyone who can afford it wants dem Replica Allagan stuffs since most (not all?) of them look awesome for glams. As someone who has never cleared the latter half of Coils and doesn't have enough time to gather the resources necessary to craft them due to the high craftmanship requirement and RL commitments (I can craft up to 1-star mostly), I've been saving gil just to buy what I can buy off the MB.

I made this thread because I was curious about the relative prices of Replica Allagan gear on other servers. On Coeurl they go for 3m-5m NM based on sales history, but most of the time there aren't any available on the MB and if there are, usually ridiculously priced (>10m). So yeah how much are they where you're from?

Because of this... can you buy all the materials off the MB? Because if so I'll just buy them off MB and look for someone who can craft them for me.

All the materials can be purchased off the boards but they tend to still come at a large cost depending on what slot the gear is in. Prices will fluctuate wildly between servers as well as the prices are mainly dictated by both the amount of materials on the AH and the amount of specialists available to craft said items.

My server is weaver heavy so the weaver items aren't too crazy to get, but leatherworker? Good luck I swear there must be like two Specialist leatherworkers on Cactuar.

Depends on the part, it is from 1M to 10M. My best FC boss got me the caster coat, I think it was around 2M at that time. Sometimes there is too many of one piece so they undercut it to 1M (never below), and sometimes there is only one piece, so they take the liberty of putting it up for 5M.

Amusingly, the Heavy High Allagan Coat goes for 2.5mil on my server. Up till today the gauntlets and sabatons were going for a cool 4.5 to 5 mil each, but now suddenly someone has a bug up their ass to sell and has started undercutting 1mil at at time. -.-

I can see that happening if an item has been sitting for for so long, they just want to load it off. The allagan Axe on my server of course started out at like 10 mil until, of course no one brought that. Fast forward and it drops to 1-2 mil. Someone cuts down to 599,999 gil and someone finally buys. Now there is two more for 600k and 1.2 mil, which is just sitting there. How well are the allagan stuff selling? Cuz I just see them on the MB for weeks, and most doesn't seen to want to lower the price or they lost out on gil, on how much the mats costed them.

The thing is, the items were selling at 4.5 mil, albeit slowly. Usually mine would sit out there for 3-5 days before selling. I've sold 3 gauntlets and 3 sabatons so far I think? There was no reason to undercut so steeply because the items were moving and there hasn't been much competition (2-3 listed at a time at most). I'm not mad or anything, it's just a little exasperating to see the item drop from 4.5mil to 3mil and then to 2mil over the course of a day or two.

The axe has always been one of the uglier pieces imo, so I'm not surprised it doesn't sell very well.

I'm trying to get the Heavy High Allagan Coat for myself. The last one sold for 3m 3 days ago, there's actually none available on the MB in Coeurl at last check. It's actually the most favorited Replica Body piece on the server.

last time i did check on my server it was over 1.5M the part... that kinda expensive for a cosmetic...

People are selling pieces for pretty high prices on Excalibur. Originally listing were in the 5 million range, but have reduced quite a bit. Still, some pieces are 2.5 million+ even thought the parts required to make them aren't really that expensive.

For every piece that I have wanted, I have just collected (bought) the materials, and made a Party Finder asking for a specialist to craft (and offered a tip, of course). I got pretty fast responses from some very helpful individuals (under 10 minutes). This way costs me about 1/4 the price listed to buy it off the MB.

wow, you live in some really expensive servers, I would be so rich if I was on some of those servers, then again the value of gil is so low there.
