I do think it would be cool if they allowed the first character of an account to make a character on whatever server they want, so people who want to play with their friends can play together and not have to deal with all this nonsense.

There is that, but I said that in a sense of a perfect scenario. More-so wishful thinking than an actual request.

I've never seen a queue that long on Cactuar. I would support the Recruit a friend campaign bypassing server limits though.

Think the only server with a character population to even be possible for that queue to be legitimate would be Balmung. Otherwise, I'm inclined to believe that is an error.

What's the point in a restriction then? Friend recruits friend who can, in turn, recruit friends, who can then recruit friends. Soon people will be selling their recruit a friend code to allow entry to a server. Doesn't matter if it'd be RMT - it'd happen. (Yes, I still saw the wishful thinking comment. Just iterating how exploitable that system would be.)
