Character Creation Restrictions : can you remove it?

Umm... could SE remove this thing? ... what's the point of making recruit a friend campaign while our new friend can't even making a character on our server ? .. I know sometimes it allowed to make new character , but sometimes it's happening on 1AM or even 3AM ... which is causing my friend can't try to make a character because he need sleep (you don't say)

even now I tried to help my friend making a character on Tonberry , the website : http://na.finalfantasyxiv.com/lodest...06d0909189e479 says Tonberry now allowed to make character , and voila this happen : ( and I already waiting for like 8 hours up until now )



pretty please SE, or at least make a new account create 1 character on any server without restriction

So character creation restrictions are actually constantly updated in the game itself whereas that post is only updated like every 4 hours or so. The restriction is based on the number of people logged in at the time and if it's full, it's full. There isn't much that can be done. Everyone just decided they wanted to cram into one server. Sorry if I sound rude, but there isn't really much that we as players can do (aside from the old "make it on one server and transfer it" suggestion).

Yea I know...but, he just buy ARR + HW and then forced to pay an extra fee for world transfer... that's really sad ;w; ...

Or SE can just make an extra code for the "recruit campaign friend" so the new player can make a new character on the recruiter servers... I hope... ;w;

I do think it would be cool if they allowed the first character of an account to make a character on whatever server they want, so people who want to play with their friends can play together and not have to deal with all this nonsense.

There is that, but I said that in a sense of a perfect scenario. More-so wishful thinking than an actual request.

I've never seen a queue that long on Cactuar. I would support the Recruit a friend campaign bypassing server limits though.

Think the only server with a character population to even be possible for that queue to be legitimate would be Balmung. Otherwise, I'm inclined to believe that is an error.

What's the point in a restriction then? Friend recruits friend who can, in turn, recruit friends, who can then recruit friends. Soon people will be selling their recruit a friend code to allow entry to a server. Doesn't matter if it'd be RMT - it'd happen. (Yes, I still saw the wishful thinking comment. Just iterating how exploitable that system would be.)

I've never seen a queue that long before on Balmung. Ever. Not even during the maddening SB launch. It most likely was a error.

Or, you know, if you recruit a friend, they can make a character on whatever server you are on and bypass the restriction if your server has one. Restricted for others except the recruited.

Or you could both go to an unpopulated server.
