Its really annoying how the SCH fairy will sit there and auto cast embrace on the target with the lowest HP!
Please SE can you adjust the steady command so that the fairy will only cast embrace on command?
This would be so helpful in certain end game raid and give more flexibility to the SCH role.
Of course in any other stance the fairy can resume the auto cast AI.
Anyone think this a good idea??

The way it works right now is fine. If the party is close to dying, having to order embrace every three seconds in addition to slamming your emergency heals would get incredibly tedious incredibly quickly.

The fairy's embrace isnt meant to be something you rely on for everything. It is just meant to be a helpful type of "regen" that helps heal the party when people other than the tank are taking damage or just a bit of help keeping the tank up when the tank is taking damage.

Embrace doesnt need to be controlled and SCH works very well without it being such. Having to use it on command only would defeat its purpose even if it is just for one stance

But it is something you rely on it. The fairy is part of of what defines the scholar as a job. Embrace is a 300 potency heal every few seconds. With rouse it might as well act as an off hand cure 1. I dont know about you but I would like to dictate where this healing potency is going more effectively . So I dont see how it "defeats" the purpose rather than utilize it better, eapecially when you can swap stances mid combat.

At 60 its potency is 200. Rouse elevates it to almost 300. but yes I could understand making her Steady shutting off her AI completely and guard to heal as it does now with embrace under AI. No Idea why it hasnt been done yet.

I can see having her being able to "Lock" to a target being a viable mode, since embrace is basically just a HoT with a body. I think full manual probably has a narrow audience and leaves more room to cause error than it allows people to gain in flexibility.

Of course there are only particular instances where this would come in handy. But having the option to manually control embrace would be nice.
The autocast really does work well for most cases. However sometimes i just want to focus heals to the off tank especially when mechanics dictate that he/she is out of my range but with in a placed fairy's range. I dont see any reason not to have this option especially when the other stance are available. It would expand the sch toolkit with out any interference with the current design or overpowering the job itself.

If you drop below 80% or a party member drops below 70% (I believe those are the values but it doesn't matter) Lilly will start embracing. Say you're about to deal with a tank buster and want to precast embrace to help the WHM out, but you're at 79% health because of aoes. You can't command her to switch targets even using a Pet Stop macro because she'll keep trying to heal you.

Then just have a lock stance. Dont need to manually control embrace but tell the fairy to only heal this person. Problem solved without needing the hassle of pressing embrace every other spell
