There is an Imperial huyr who gets a crush on tataru.
Rhoswen would never admit it but she has a crush on Carvallain. An intense rivalary as well.

There is a roe in the gold saucer who has two hyur kids, and in the last Halloween event a sun kitty miqo'te girl (with fangs?) had a sun kitty mother and a hyur father. And there was the Roe in the MST (Sorry I forget her name ;-; ) who liked Urianger

Nessa, you're were talking about Moenbryda. Actually, i was really into shippin' Bryda and Urianger, for seein' him all flustered and nervous with her about was simply joyfull. I actually felt sorry for him when [SPOILERS ALERT!] she sacrificed herself to kill the Ascian guy.
That lass did really born with an Axe on her hand, really liked her. Shame she had to die!![]()

It's Mimidoa

I've always wondered why they never added half-breed or interracial races in game as this would obviously occur with so many different combination of love interests, but now that I read that the mother's race takes preference, it all makes sense now. Where can I read upon that?Though we're never told how many couples between those two were so the numbers might've been low and like how you get either a boy or a girl there's a 50% chance if could be a Human or not. Well seeing as FFXIV Lore mentions the child will always be the same as the mother.

While this would make sense, sadly the game has made a hash of this particular theory with the introduction of Hilda, the Mongrel. Her mother was Hyur, and Hilda has distinctly pointed Elezen ears. As others have pointed out, she is this game's obligatory half-elf, much like Lilisette was in FFXI. And, also like Lilisette, she's the only half-breed visible in the whole game, when logically (given all the mixed-race romances we see among NPCs) they should be all over the place.I've always wondered why they never added half-breed or interracial races in game as this would obviously occur with so many different combination of love interests, but now that I read that the mother's race takes preference, it all makes sense now. Just because there are mixed-race couples doesn't mean they are able to produce viable offspring. Look at the real world and inter-species breeding; most half-breeds die before birth, and many are born with serious defects that kill them shortly. There's only a few that are able to produce viable offspring, but even then they're still often "broken" (mules, for example, are sterile and can't breed at all)
Just to add to my last post (don't feel like editing so late), perhaps we see a good amount of mixed-race couples because they cannot breed easily...
