yes. the yellow dot means they are turned on. like selecting the duty you want to go into.

if on playstation. just clicking square should do it.

PC you might have a conflicting program. such as a controller for example. i had some problems on PC that it was the controller plugged in that was having the issue.

thats right is that the dot i mentioned . and yh im on ps4 . also just did like u told and it seems the square button doesnt work when pressed like it always did before .. aww man this is so fking weir and annoying !

also, if before pressing Square button would light up the dot, now it pops some txt "defaut all"

everything works normaly but in this crap log filters -_- . already delected all System settings , to so if anything changes but it didnt ...

whatever , im re-instaling the game . honestly dont even know if im gonna keep my char or not , but im so damn upset with this shity crap hole issue that i care for nothing else .. ty for ur time

been having the same issue for a week at least now, contacted them in game.
more BS excuses, dont know either if i will keep playing this, everything since heavensward has been a piece off crap.

they have shown to me multiple times they wont change anything for the better, that community has been reduced allready by their screw ups and everything they try to do solve the crap they did just keeps making it worse.

yoshi said they want to make this game last for 10+years, while in fact they should allready start merging servers
guess this is what we have come to expect from SE

I am currently also having the same issue and I am on PS4 as well.

Character Configuration < Log Windows Settings < Log Filters < Log Filters Windows

No matter what I do it doesn't allow me to change the ones that are yellow off or the ones greyed out on. I found holding the X down and scrolling down while holding and quickly selecting another keeps them highlighted, but after hitting circle while holding X down and pressing Apply looked to work, only for me to turn back to the page and they are all back to what I didn't want them as again.

I seriously think this is a real big bug going on with the PS4 users. Since, my bf is playing it on PC and he's not having the same issues.
