    It would be great if there was a GP restore slot at nodes, that would restore a set amount of GP (more than the normal 5 per swing). That way the player has a choice, either collect an item, or restore some GP quicker. Plus, it would add more complexity to rotations. I'm not sure what it could be...maybe 50? 100?

    IMHO GP restoration should be a percent value instead of that fixed 5 per few secs. 5 points is ok on lower levels but it's a snorefest when you're repeatedly waiting for 600 points to regen. Oh well, I guess the cordial vendors need to feed their families too. And pay the rent.

    My biggest gripe is that when you change to a gatherer from another job, you will get only get 400/600 GP regardless of where you are. So on your first node you will be short on GP just because the game says so

    400 is the base GP. Although it is not stated anywhere, your combat and crafting classes all have that base 400 GP. If you were to meld 50 GP to your combat gear, then spend a lot of time in that particular class/job, changing to a gathering class would see you at 450 GP rather than just 400.

    IMO that hidden stat should be set at 2000, or your MP level, whichever is higher. It would not permit you to class swap for a complete refill, but it would enable you to refill to max while on other classes/jobs.

    I remember the days when you would start with 0 GP coming from other jobs, 400 is pretty nice.
