    Materia Melds for NIN.

Getting alot of conflicting answers in game, so what should i add to my gear to net most DPS increase or how should my melds look rather? I currently have 681 Accuracy, 804 critical rating and 571 Determination...1126 Dexterity and 1126 Attack Power. Also what should I add with overmelds?

While Ninja is not my main i would add crit materia and the slots that you could not, add determination instead.
This site allows you to load up your character and you can slot in materia, truly helps in decision making

You just need to go visit the website that Maero posted, it shows stat caps by gear pieces. You can even add in melds to see how your stats look at the end.

First make sure your Accuracy is sufficient for the content that you are doing. Then, meld Crit until it is capped.

The stat priorities are Crit > Determination > Skill Speed for NIN. You can actually just avoid melding Skill Speed altogether as it has the lowest stat weight by far.

I'm referring to the cap per gear piece, when you attempt to meld and it tells you that you can't apply any more Crit.

See I didn't know this. So if I can't add critical to a piece of armor when I request meld will it say failed on their end? Will it just not let me request X stat if it's capped? Do I lose the materia.

And I tried using that site but it won't work with my phone and my laptops busted.

Any Ninjas that have full crafted gear that can tell me how much critical and determine you have? Dexterity has the highest state weight right, so why not meld Dex?

Each piece of left-side armor has your primary stat, vitality, and 2 secondary stats. One of these secondary stats is higher than the other.

Assuming your armor is with HQ crafted or blue-quality (from raids, lore tomes, etc.):
The primary stat, vitality, and the *higher* of the two secondary stats is at the cap already. So if a piece has, say, 75 skillspeed and 50 crit, you have 25 more points of Crit to play with, but you can not meld your primary stat, SS or vitality.

If the piece had, say, accuracy and determination, you can safely meld crit up to whichever of those 2 stats is higher.

Accessories are much the same, but since the DPS ones don't have Vitality on them you can meld that.

Thank you very much this what i was looking for. Someone told me something similar but they left out "if a piece has determ and ss i can meld crit =to the highest of the two." And other NINs in game stats didn't match up with mine so thats why i was confused about how the caps work. Thanks again!
