Victory Pose and Bosses

Currently after defeating a boss our characters usually give a Joy emote for the victory. As seen with certain bosses though (most noticably the 8-man raids) this is not always the case though!

What I think would be nice would be for certain content to have all the characters in the duty instead do their Victory Pose in sync, including our own character doing so instead of having the short delay. Given that we get it in the story, 4.0 and onwards could certainly use this without any issue player-side if it matters whether the character in question has the emote.

Content that is only available after that quest, sure, sounds fine. Those emotes are nice.

Yes 4.0 and onwards should be very possible, undeerstandable if they don't do it now since the fights it would most likely be used for aren't tied to the MSQ, except maybe the final story dungeon/trial that ends the HW patch series.

Another reason to skip these scenes if this happens. I find them horribly OTT and not very inspiring. Used them once to try and never touched them again.

I'm hoping they add in a feature like this! Once you unlock vpose, you start using it in dungeon cutscenes and stuff.

I'm sure it would be possible to code in some kind of
"if /vpose is available, use it. else use /joy" clause. ^^

The poses feel very over the top and would end up making the clear screen feel even longer :l. Maybe if they were cropped down a bit to be a brief pose rather than a full animation.

Well... If you've got the "skip previously seen cutscenes", you wouldn't notice anyway ;p And you can always interrupt them and skip them manually if you like to be able to see other dungeon cutscenes.

This is part of why I say they should have our character start the pose at the same time as everyone else, as well as only for certain instances. The final raid boss, a dungeon/trial that is more important that we win for the story then the rest. For most duties it would still be as it currently is.

You aren't the first I've seen say this about Bard. I myself do like it, though its defintly how people feel about the actual animations that would be the biggest obstacle to whether this is added.
